Attention Taxpayers of Preston County

According to WV Code §11-1C-7 the Assessor’s Office Appraisal Staff will be going door to door for our real estate property re-valuation. Appraisers Shannan Holleran and Josh Waugh, along with data collectors Kelly Hartman and Heatherlee Sulick, are working in the field and will be checking for new construction, sales and transfers.

Visitation to the Preston County areas of Reno District by Shannan Holleran’s team and Brandonville and Bruceton Mills Corps and Grant District by Josh Waugh’s team will be expected during the months of July and August 2025.

Commercial Appraiser, Jesse Hale, will also be out in the field doing appraisals in Mobile Home Parks and Campgrounds.

Vehicles will be clearly marked with our office name, phone number, with county license plates and each employee will have an ID card.

They will be knocking on doors and leaving door hangers for information concerning your property improvements.
